The University of Milan joins the EU Science Diplomacy Alliance

The University of Milan has recently joined the EU Science Diplomacy Alliance, the largest collaborative initiative in the field of European science diplomacy. The Alliance brings together 59 members from 18 EU Member States and 26 global networking partners from 15 countries outside the European Union.

Launched by the EU projects on science diplomacy S4D4C, InsSciDE and EL-CSID, funded in the framework of Horizon 2020, the EU Science Diplomacy Alliance aims to uphold and further develop the networks, impact and expertise generated by those initiatives.

The Alliance fosters dialogue and cooperation among science diplomacy players, as well as training initiatives, institutional capacity building and coordination of grant-seeking or use of joint funding, where available.
Moreover, it serves as a hub for cooperative activities and voluntary coordination, relying on the expertise and engagement of its members and partner networks to identify priority action areas and pursue innovative activities.
