International students Welcome Day 2025

Traditional Welcome Day for international students who are starting out their journey at the University of Milan. The afternoon will begin with an introductory speech by Vice Rector for Internationalisation Paola Catenaccio, followed by a presentation of all student offices and services of the university, including leisure and sport opportunities.
There will also be speakers from ESN — Erasmus Student Network Italia, the association supporting international students studying in Italy, and representatives of YesMilano, the main tourism website for the city of Milan. The event will close with a Q&A session to clarify any doubts from the audience.
Students will then be invited to join a guided tour of the Ca' Granda, the architectural complex that has been home to the University of Milan since the 1950s, after serving as a hospital for the previous five centuries. We kindly remind you that registration is required to participate in the tour. At the end of the tour, participants will have the possibility to join for an aperitivo organised by ESN — with the contribution of the University — at one of the coolest bars in town.
