La Statale per l'AI – Other Cultures of AI | Online Seminar Series

Building on the success of the first edition “Towards a Decolonized Artificial Intelligence”, this online seminar series is promoted by the Department of Philosophy “Piero Martinetti” of the University of Milan and organized by Diletta Huyskes, Maria Sapignoli, and Giuseppe Primiero. The series challenges dominant AI paradigms based on quantification, efficiency, and classification, exploring alternative epistemologies and scientific traditions – from indigenous and non-Western knowledge systems to feminist, relational, and non-statistical computational approaches – to rethink how AI can be designed, understood, and imagined.
